3 men abandoned a Saluki 5 miles from Newbury. Today

She Is being looked after by an acquaintance of mine tonight.

Saluki welfare have been informed.

Is probably 2 - 3 years old - in good condition and very friendly with people and dogs.

Appears to be in milk !!

Was found in an agitated state (there seemed to have been boxes in the van - it's just possible they could have housed puppies !

Saluki was distraught, whining and howling, but has settled down quite well.

Ravenously hungry.

gold/cream, freckled feet.

If anyone reads this tonight and knows of a stolen Saluki who fits the picture please let me know.

Saluki Welfare No. is Ann Blake - 01727 823 3360

The person who is housing the bitch tonight is Deb on 0776 956 4055

I have pics, but do not know how to put them on here - if anyone is interested, please mail me and I can send then that way.

Will stay on line for a while in case anyone is there !!

Really sorry if I have done any of this incorrectly, but needed to get it done quickly.

Oh bless her
Any news on how she is/owners?
Latest report is that she is still where she was last night !!!!

Reading inbetween the lines it sounds as though she has mesmerised the present keeper with her charms !! -

Apparently several people have phoned, but none so far have been the original owners.

She was taken to the vets today, and there is no chip - the vet reckons she had pups 3 - 4 days ago !!! (there are really no words to describe the perpetrators of this particular crime!)

Thanks for the interest.

Makes you wonder what happened to the poor pups? :(

I am so glad her foster carers are mesmerised-maybe they will keep her,she must be in a right state.

Please let us know what happens.

Apparently she fits in brilliantly and gets on with the carer's dogs and children.

She comes when asked and they all love her to bits..

It's looking good !!!! She may not be going anywhere fast ! ! ! ! if you see what I mean.

She may indeed be a VERY lucky person.

Yes, you wonder about the pups - but you could worry yourself into your grave if you had the time ! There is only so much any of us can do.
