'tis all true! It's official Chris secretary of South Cotswold WRC is a right bleeder! :- "

Whilst I'm sure that Hannah has been known to utter such sentiments at the odd moment. Even a doctor said it about Chris today. And he gave him a slap when he said it! (w00t) (w00t)

Yes Chris has had his op and well he's only got the one good hand now.

Oh and this was what Chris looked like (w00t) as Hannah drove him home from hospital. That's a scary thought but what's even worse is that Hannah says she is going to drive their van to Nymphsfield this Sunday.

Lucky are those racers who have elected to go to the Northern and Maidstone this Sunday for your vans/cars will remain undented and un-scratched and still road worthy. :- "

The things some members will do to try and get out of helping at an Open

I'll have you know that there's nothing wrong with "my" driving, it's everyone else who's at fault :p ........I have also driven a van once befor and i live to tell the tale (w00t) ........Chris didn't look like (w00t) all the way home as he did quite abit of  at me whilst i drove so carefully home  and he also mentioned something about life insurances and not having a death wish  (god he can be soooo miserable :D )..........So with my L plates stuck to my faithfull tranny, i'm off to practice scaring Chris some more (w00t) (w00t) (w00t)

I would just like to say that my wifes driving is not really that bad but i am thinking of increasing my life cover just for the next couple of weeks while i recover from my hand op.. :D ....i would also like to thank Beejay on her nicely written post and i would like to add that it was just a dribble and nothing more but the journey home was quite interesting and not.. :- " ..but more like :x as i could not cover my eyes .

If anyone is interested and live around the Nympsfield area please stay off the roads until around 9am and then again in the afternoon or if you do need to travel watch out for the trannie with "L" plates on driving close to the kerbs.I look forward to seing you all at our open next w/kend.

Also a big ta to Mark for his sympathetic words and i certainly look forward to seeing him next week. :p

Ahh you went to the vicky school of motoring :D

The above also goes well with "who put that there" after reversing into my own garden fence which i'd done well to avoid for two years :D So my car now has "go faster dent" in (it's a new trend - trust me it'll soon catch on!!)

Ah you are like my friend. Who rushed out of her house to go to work. Put her car in first gear instead of reverse. Her car went over a pavement and straight through her garden wall and ended up in her garden. Fortunately she had managed to stop before hitting her house and knocking that down as well. :- "

I don't generally hit things they hit me.

Chris, you have my sympathy surly you would of been better having a week or two in hospital to get ocver the op rather than having to be a passenger while Hannahs driving.

i'm just trying to work out if i've time to nip down in the morning and run you to racing.

I've just thought of a little stress saving tip for you Chris for tomorrow morning. Put a pillow case over your head whilst Hannah is driving. I'm sure that even if you can't manage to do this for yourself Beej will help you out.

Uummmm........we used to have a hedge at the front of our garden until the stupid car didn't realise that it was ment to be in reverse and not 1st gear :b ........Chris did alot of  that day  (w00t)

Don't you think that this may look a tad suspiciose ?? a mad woman driving a common old trannie with the passanger wearing a pillow case on his head   (w00t) .............I'll end up being carted away for kidnapping him or something

Thanks for the offer Mark ( and good luck for tomorrow ) but i think Barbara's idea might be a little more like it ( a little cheaper ) ......that is if i could find a couple to really black out my vision!!!.. i'm sure she'll do just fine as she stated in her earlier post but what she didn't say was she stopped about 2 feet from parking her old rusty Escort in our front room...  :- " .

For a calming influence i suppose i could phone the emergency doc line and get them to prescribe me some morphine for the journey and if that fails a bottle or two of wine might be in order

Chris, i'm sure Hannah will be just fine? as long as theres no jncs, roundabout, x rd's traffic lights turns.

see you next week what times best to arrive to miss Hannah (the lovely Hannah o:) )

The good thing about trannie vans is that most people stop for them.......imagine what the general public must have thought when they saw a large white trannie lurching toward them down the road... with L plates on    ...so jcts, roundabouts etc are no problem.

The best time to to miss Hannah would be very early in the morning say 3am as she is either fast asleep or talking to someone ( no names mentioned to prevent law suites etc ) on this board so you should have around a two hour window... :D

Cheers Chris, getting from Rochdale to Gloucester doesn't bother me it's the last little bit when Hannah might be around I find a worry

Mark , we'll be up at the ground before 8 am with the van parked up ... ..so you should be ok . If you like i could pinch the keys off her when we park up but she might look a little like this... .
