Rottweiller Found Wednesbury Trading Est West Mids

Hi,

There is an adult male Rottie loose on Wednesbury Trading Estate - he has been there all morning and local traders have called the Police and local dogwarden but no one has come out. The dog is quite thin, very hungry and friendly. He has a silver chain collar but no id tag.

The people on the trading estate have been giving him bits of food bought from the estate snack van - but some people are obviously wary of dogs like this and the poor snack bar trade is suffering so some are not being as understanding as others.

I have called 2 local rescues but one couldn't help as they were at the kennels on their own and the one rescue which covers the area said the dog warden has to deal with this.

One of the companies has called the dog warden office a few times at Sandwell and has been told they will get to it when they can.

I cannot find a local Rottweiller rescue and the nortwest one has a dead tone when I dial it.

Any suggestions?

One of the girls who works on the estate has called me to say she was so worried about the dog running away even further that she has coaxed it into her car with a sausage and taken it to the local police station (poor thing fell asleep in the back of her car he was that tired).

She was told the dog would be taken to Sunnyside Kennels in Coven Near Wolverhampton tomorrow. Their details are:
