Road Block For Pride Of The Peaks

hi folks, jut wanted to make every one aware, i travelled to the show ground yesterday and found out that when i arrived in cromford and the sat nav wanted me to turn up the A5012 it was shut for road works, im not sure if it will be open saturday and sunday but i just thought id make you aware, the diversion is taking you back through matlock bath, then still straight through matlock up to the new round about where the big sainsbury's is on your left, if you take your 1st exit then at the sainsbury's car park round about take your 2nd exit to go up the hill on the new round, sat nav should re-route you and your around 5 miles away from the show ground there, hope that helps

ok here we go, im looking at this on a google map so bare with me,

at the round about that leads into sainsbury's car park take 'matlock spa road' for 0.8 mile (the new road going up the steep hill)

Bear left toward Oker Road 0.7 mile

Keep straight onto Oker Road 0.6 mile

Bear left onto B5057 1.7 mile (main road)

Turn left onto East Bank 0.4 mile

Bear left onto B5056121 ft

Turn right onto road 1.3 mile

Turn left toward A5012 0.4 mile

Turn right onto A5012 1.7 mile

Arrive at DE4 2PH, Derbyshire

let me know if this all works cos if it does i can now call myself clever :teehee:

but remember, the cromford A5012 may be re-opened cos of the weekend, it is a tourist village

good luk folks and if you still get lost im the guy with hair down to my bum, a tash and a patch over my left eye and a parrot on my shoulder, see you there

Update folks, made my way to show ground this morning and the road block is open
