We had to say good bye to our boy Iffy in the early hours of this morning. He was our first racing whippet out of Catch the Wind and Savernake Red Alert. We shared nearly 13 years with him. He brought us so much pleasure in so many ways, introducing us to whippet racing and all the friends we have made since. He only won two opens, his maiden at Harvel in 2000 and the Sporting Championship at Independent at the end of the same year, but he always loved racing and was such a lovely dog to own, with a very special character and a look in his eyes that would get him anything.

I cant even think about how much we are going to miss him. Loved him so very very much. Thank you to Mick and Angie for letting us have him and to Geoff for all his good advice and help when we were new to racing.

Many thanks for all of your kind messages, it helps to know how many other people understand our feelings and it is so nice of you all to take the time to write something. We are still missing him like mad, but trying very hard to remember all the good times we shared together, he will never be forgotten.
