Rip Bracken

It's 4 weeks since Ecksey lost Bracken - at the ripe old age of 12, to kidney failure.

She was a lovely old girl :wub:

As we have easy access to the garden, and she was getting weaker, she had spent the day with us for the last few weeks of her life and we had come to rely on her to tell us when Star was up on the bench stealing, or seeing if there was anything there to steal. :lol:

She managed a walk and got up to no good right up to 2 days before she went to the Bridge

RIP Bracken, we all still miss you x x x

Aw bless her. Very poignant for me as well, as my old black dog, Dante, is a timebomb with his failing kidneys. I suppose he is doing quite well for 14!

thank you to all who have replied, she was the most amazing girlie, loved by all who met her, we miss her greatly, we now have a new one we rescued him from the rspca, he is a fawn greyhound x, 7 months old named echo, he is adorable. :wub: thanks again.xx
