Try the site www.workingterriers.co.uk in the running dog section. A red Saluki cross has been found in the south East.

Thanks! I'll go and check it out now and let you know what happens.

Checked out www.workingterrier.co.uk but that one is a dog and this lost one is a bitch. Thanks for keeping an eye open, anyway. I'll have a look through my notes and see if anyone has reported a red dog missing.

Ooops sorry! I was so stunned to see a dog found in the South East I forgot the obvious!

The owners must feel terrible. My greyhound escaped on firework night and I was really lucky someone rang to say they found her within a couple of hours. She had gone 2 miles across country and a busy road, and was one field away from the kennels she came from 4 1/2 years ago. I think she thought we would be in the field there where we sometimes take her for a run.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas

Additional Info: No sight or sound of her since Monday afternoon, other dogs were untouched it is quite possible that she was targeted. Travellers in the area. Substantial reward offered.

**Update**

There have been sightings of Moet, but is proving very diffcult to catch. If anyone can offer help or advice please contact the owners direct on 07813 701414

Thanks

Delighted to say that Moet is back home after 12 days running loose in horrible weather. Recent sightings were within a mile of home, and this evening the owner went out in the dark and found her, rather thin but otherwise OK. :)

And just to prove that using your other dogs to find a missing one works. Another good result eh Phebe. :)

>She turned up at home around 10 pm, on 31/12/03. The owner had started walking his other dogs around the garden in the hope they'd leave a scent trail. It obviously worked, and she's now at home again....somewhat thinner and a bit dirty and scratched.Looks like she's been living rough.
