Recycle Your Outgrown Whippet Coats

Hi - I am a new Whippet owner and I would love to hear from anyone who has a Whippet Puppy Coat for sale.

I have been looking around and cannot justify spending upwards of £20 for a Coat which she will only be in for a short while.

Im based in Cheltenham so a little far away - Shame

Suerose has kindly sent me a knitting pattern which Im gonna try to rope in someone to help/do for me.

Many Many thanks for your kind offer, It seems my little girl really feels the cold + I feel terrible when I put her outside for a wee.

She has a Housecoat which I brought 2nd hand off e-bay & I have acquired a Wax Jacket but as not designed for a whippet I need to make a few alerations. She is testing my non-existant sewing skills.

I have an embroidery machine so once done - I can out her name on !!

i cant wait to buy her an all singing/dancing one from a specialist like Coatsrus, but i will wait til she slows down growing a little.

When you come to gloucester racing i can prolly find a few of Daisys for you to borrow or I'm only in Gloucester if you wanted something sooner ) Daisy is 18" and about 20lbs so quite little

Hiya fellow little blue owner I've got a size 16 inch green outhwaite you could borrow? i'm gonna try to organise to come to Gloucester races for a look see in February or I could send it? I say borrow cos I'm still working on the other half for another puppy but if that happens it won't be for a while yet. let me know I'm sure we can sort something )

Thanks so much - She was a lucky puppy and got a nice new one from Santa Paws !!

Im glad I waited as she grew from 15" to 17.5" within a few months !!!

Me too re working on other half for another pup !-- I keep saying how she loves my Mums Llaso and she would love a play mate. I know Im gonna be terrible if anyone I know has a litter and I will want them all, but secretly i would love another blue bitch or even a black as they look so sleek & shiny.

Ah glad yer sorted. You'll be a coataholic before you know it Dots got 7 coats and jumpers Duke has 6 (w00t) I got a message back from Lou re who to cantact about the racing am going to give Lesley a ring in the week. Re having a 2nd whippie I bet its not long before you have another? they're like coats one is never enough :teehee: (w00t)
