Recommendation for dog collars!

Hey guys

I recently saw a stall of a new dog company called Billy & Bella and decided to buy a collar & lead from them.

Its definitely the nicest collar I have used in such a long time! They were such nice guys (they actually gave me a harness for free too so wanted to recommend them as I know they are currently wanting to reach more people.

Seriously guys if you need a dog collar or lead give this a go!!!

I actually came across these guys when i was searching on Amazon yesterday. Just bought the highlight orange collar off the back of your post.

Will let everyone know how it is - should be with me tomorrow (got to love Amazon Prime). Pictures look amazing though.

@Seb1234  - What did U think of the collar?
It's been over a month, how has it held up, & does it seem comfy? -- Functional?

I didn't look at the linked site, but my preference is for limited-slip martingales in sighthound style - they come in many widths, & i like to get the collar at least as wide as the cervical vertebrae, so that it cannot possibly get between them & cause injury.
The dog can't escape them, as the collar tightens when they pull - so no doggie bums vanishing over the horizon in the distance, & me holding the leash & calling the dog uselessly.  When properly fitted, the dog cannot BACK out of them, either - i don't grok the recent trend to leave collars so loose they lie on the dog's shoulders like a stole, vs sit up on the neck near the jawline.   :wacko:
A collar that loose can literally fall off when the dog drops their head to sniff at the ground - it slides down the neck, touches their ears, they flinch or flick the ear,  there's the collar on the ground... & the dog apparently fantasizing they're in the Derby, doing 35-mph.

She uses hardware that's solid sand-cast brass, made by the supplier for COACH handbags - no bends, no welds to break, no gaps to twist apart.
Her collars carry a lifetime warranty & are replaced if they 'break' - which i can't imagine, unless someone leaves the collar lying about for the dog to chew, as I've got 15-YO collars that still look gorgeous.

It's a 2-inch width, so even a 100# dog who had a pulling habit could safely be walked without worrying s/he would injure her trachea or spine.

PS - I used to live not far from her shop, at the time off 1st Colonial Rd in Va Beach, VA, & went there for her annual clearance sale in July every year, plus going in regularly to see if anything interesting was new - my favorite calming spray was on her shelves, it's a DE-TANGLER that needs no rinsing, & is a calmative for anxious dogs, to boot! - Cool.

I think I'll just stick with my regular dog tracker collar, since we usually go traveling. But I'll maybe check it out if I ever get a new buddy.
