I've been feeding my 6 year old lurcher a raw food diet for years which he gets on with brilliantly. I now have a 12 month old lurcher as well that I have had since he was 3 months and is on Bakers Complete. I have been trying to introduce him to the raw food diet by just adding a couple of chicken wings to his meals each day which he adores, the only problem is every time I do this he gets the runs so I have to stop. Any suggestions? Also does anyone know a raw tripe suppliers. Many thanks Pickle

I won't get into my thoughts on Bakers, but I would say the sooner you can move him over to raw the better!!

I order through TPMS who I think are fantastic; they don't deliver nationwide but it would be worth giving them a call to see if they deliver to your area.

I previously used Landywoods who are very hit and miss with both the quality of food and their customer service. They do however, deliver to a much wider area.

I would think the reason your dog has had the squits is because you shouldn't really feed raw & cooked together.

I agree that the sooner you get him over to raw the better  Bakers if full of additives, colours & preservatives which won't do ANY dog any good

Agree about the Bakers, it's full of additives, I wouldn't use it even as part of the diet.

Some dogs are allergic to chicken, so it might be worth trying something else and see how he gets on?
