Railtrack Helpline - the people who clear the track will be able to give a

description of any dog killed which may help people who have lost dogs to

find out what happened to them. The phone number is 08457 114141

May I just add that Railtrack were wonderful when I lost Aoife.  I phoned them twice because I was sure she had gone onto the railway.  I had a response from the local office both times within 12 hours.  Unfortunately, my gut feeling was correct and she had indeed been killed on the railway although not in the first two days of going missing.  The foreman returned her collar & tag to me in person and also advised me what had happened to her body in a most sympathetic manner.  And typing this has brought it all back as though it were yesterday despite it being nearly 41/2 years ago     :(

That's a really useful number to have. I hope you don't mind, but I have shared the info with my forum too. Thank you :flowers:
