Raffertys Birthday

The "Furry Fool" is 6 today :wub: His birthday started with a lie in (well we didn't get in till 1.30 last night :- " ) Then he lay on the settee for a few hours more. Then we were really really mean to him & dragged him out into the park for a couple of hours. It wasn't raining so we're not too cruel :- "

There were loads of "once a year walkers" in there, most of them seemed to have BIG black dogs with them so Raffy got all stroppy as he tends to dislike large black dogs. This meant that he had a really good time as being a stroppy little :rant: is what he is good at :wub:

He doesn't have hackles like other dogs but his tail (bog brush :lol: ) goes all bushy when he gets cross. He's not brave or daft enough to actually pick a fight but just stalks about grumbling just out of their reach :b

Here he is in his fluffy birthday suit :wub:

I did have my reservations but it has worked out really well. The cost e.g. insurance & food has obviously increased but the day to day routine hasn't altered. I thought I'd have a problem walking 3 as Hebe does pull a bit but it's been fine.

NOOOOooo...definitely not. Not with my current circumstances anyway. I did get a third one (a whippet pup) a year or so ago, convinced it would work out, and it didn't :unsure: . I felt so awful at failing and letting everyone down, that I just couldn't do it again.

I just get a bit wistful sometimes, hence my comment :b I do love seeing your three though :thumbsup:
