I have been making Dudleys food for a little while now. Mostly it is chicken but our local butcher sells skinned and jointed rabbit.
Would this be ok to give him. I am aware there are small bones involved in rabbit, do I pick them out, or do I feed it to him with the bones.

If you feed it raw the bones will be fine. If you are cooking it, could you ask him to mince it so the bones are properly crushed - they would have to be finely ground though to protect against splinters piercing his digestive system.

Oh yeah- raw rabbit will be fine. I think the important thing is to let them have peace and quiet to chew them up! The only time I've had a problem is with ox-tail when our other dog got out into the garden too soon and the greedy cocker I suspect swallowed a chunk whole. the next day he sicked up (thank-goodness) a couple of bone pieces that I guess were too big.
