R.i.p Slim

While at Horden track this morning, dad gave Slim a run and just after the Pavillion he went down and he broke both his front legs. Dad took him to the vet where he was given an anesthetic and examined, on the vets advice Slim was put to sleep as the vet explained with him being such a big dog he would never walk as he could not support himself with pins in his legs. So dad followed the vets advice and Slim was put to sleep.

As you can imagine we are gutted, he was dads baby, he was so big and stupid but so loving, my god we are going to miss him.

Just want to say a big thank you to Peter Winter who went with Dad to the vets and stayed with Slim, thanks again Peter
