I met two today - I don't think I've seen one before, and had to ask the owner what their breed was - but what striking little dogs, and one in particular was a real sweetheart.

Anyone know more about them? I'm a little bit besotted (I hope you all know me well enough to know I would never choose a dog just for looks, but I do feel some research coming on).

I didn't know the name for that dog but after googling the name, I do recognize it....we've got one around our walks, but don't know anything more about it other than that particular one is very placid and friendly individual.
Oh...do you feel temptation coming on??

I'm afraid I do, but Timber is quite an old man (although he doesn't behave like one) so it wouldn't be fair to disrupt his single dog status.

And Mr F would probably have a fit.

I just had a look on the Kennel Club website: it says their exercise needs are 'Up to 1 hour per day'. Really? I don't believe that for a moment! They're smaller than I thought when I did an image search - made me realise that I'm a 'big dog' person.

Yes, they are about the size of a Brittany. Very pretty dogs, a little bit like miniature versions of Afghan hounds.
