Puppy on crate rest

Hi, my 3 month cocker spaniel has fractured his front leg which is in a cast and on crate rest for one month. The initial few days he slept a lot but a week in he is full of energy and I'm looking for some mental activities to tire him out as he needs to rest. Any ideas would be appreciated.
