Back on the Straight Track was the order of the day on Sunday, 3rd July 2005. Bowing to popular demand from members the committee agreed for a Puppy Derby to be run for pups between 12 – 18 months. It was agreed to open the event up to non-members but none booked in to run their pups. The event was over 175 yards at yd/lb. The final’s result is listed below-
Puppy Derby
Red Mr Starburst 2
Blu Stardust 1
Whi Crack-on Tristan 3
Supporting races for the Iceni Handicap Trophy also over 175 yards.
Iceni Final
Red Mr Millichip 1
Blu Muppy Puck 4
Whi Just Wonderful 2
Blk Laika Angel 3
Weather was overcast with a little rain and no wind. Track good to soft.
