Hi There,

I wanted some advice and wasn’t sure where to go so here is my dilema

I have recently purchased a puppy (before the lockdown was put in) and she is now ready for collection and I want to know if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get the puppy or do I just have to wait for the lockdown to be over which could be weeks and weeks ?

I have read that this is not considered to be an essential journey. Maybe the breeder will know more, presumably he or she has this problem with all the pups?

Here “pets’ needs” are essential.
Not sure if this includes puppy pickup, but I would assume that it does. How to prove it if stopped on the way there..... not sure either.

According to the Kennel Club (as of three days ago) you weren't entitled to do this: Breeders and coronavirus (Covid-19) FAQs

They say in the article that they are hoping to be updated by DEFRA, so you might want to try contacting them to ask to see if there have been any changes.
