Show Certificate of merit . Its a KC thing , that they thought up a couple of years ago to get more people to go to Open shows ,
To get the title you need 25 points . you get 5 for BIS group placing 4 for 1st -3 for 2nd -2 for 3rd and -1 for fourth , One point for BOB But you must win at least one Group ( multi breed show) to qualify and wins in Puppy groups dont count . oh ,and 4 points for a single group show .
It really dosnt mean anything ,and I dont think there is a time limit ,Not like a junior warrant where you gain a Stud book number and it has to be `done` between 6 and 18 months of age .
For those that dont know about that , you get 3 points for a champ show win and 1 for an open show ( but there must be at least 3 in aclass to get the 1 point , unless you go BOB ) , again you need to get 25 points but 3 at least must be from an Open or Champ show , you cant get them all at one type of show .
