Poor Tipsie The Rabbit - Gone To The Bridge

I made an appointment at the vets for 3pm today for Tipsie the dwarf rabbit....it sadly looked like she had maybe had a stroke..and sadly we didnt make the vets appointment and she died around 2pm this afternoon. she was 5 years old...

RIP Little Tipsie..run free little girl..

and strangely enough I lost Blue her son about a month ago.....

he died suddenly in his sleep.. Im not having much luck with the bunnies this year...Im down to 5 now.

So sorry to hear about your bunnie, Tipsie, Janis. So soon after losing her son as well. I don't know how long rabbits live, but 5 doesn't sound very old at all.

With Dwarfs Gillian...I would say 7 or 8 is around the lifespan...whereas some of the larger breeds sometimes maybe a bit longer. Its difficult to tell now...they can all be different naturally.

I did have a black dutch called Lucky.....he was 10 when he died, on Christmas Day

Shes buried in my dads allotment....along with I dont know how many....its the great bunny burrow in the sky ....Im always frightened the dogs dig them up here... :b so dont risk it.

I am very sorry to hear about Tipsie Janis,she was a real beautiful little Netherland.

We lost Jack our Dwarf Lop 2yrs ago..he was almost 11 and I still miss him.
