I thought it was odd last night when she was not interested in her food, today she didnt eat her breakfast and her tummy was making all sorts of gurgly noises. I knew she was feeling uncomfortable because she was doing a bit of stretching, she did a normal poo and was happy to stand out in the lashing rain to eat a load of grass (a sure sign something was up) She then came in and threw up all over the floor, just grass. I checked her tummy to see if it was swollen (I am paranoid about bloat) but it was not. Poor baby is fast asleep snuggled up under the duvet now, definately not her normal self :(

When mine get a gurgly tum I give them a settlers or rennies. That usually does the trick. I think it is a whippet thing, not all suffer with it though.

Poor Lucy :huggles: I always keep a tube of Pro-Kolin in the cupboard to help with upset tums. It contains kaolin to absorb any nasties and firm up loose motions and probiotics to replenish the good bacteria. Hope she feels better soon.

Poor Lucy , hope she feels better soon :huggles:

Thanks for the tips! She is getting spoilt rotten, boiling up a pot of chicken and rice as I type, she seems to have suddenly perked up :teehee:

Poor Lucy, hope she is feeling lots better soon :huggles:

Sending lots of good thoughts for Lucy :huggles:

Bless

Big hugs for Lucy :huggles: .... get well soon, poppet :luck:

Poor Lucy

I keep a tube of Pro-Kolin in the house too. Great stuff

Chicken gives 3 of mine the runs and I do not feed it any more.

Pro-kolin can be bought online without prescription for about £11.00 a tube.

Poor Lucy and poor you. I think it's horrible having a dog with tummy upset because it can be so many things, from simply being off colour which sorts itself out to parasitic infections. My lot have had the whole spectrum of 'bugs'. Hope she feels better soon.

:( Poor Lucy, I hope she is feeling better soon ;) natural yogurt is great for settling upset tummies too.
