This is Brandy and Girlie, my mums whippets. Think it was about 1972 or 73. The darker one is Brandy, the male, and Girlie is the lighter one.

I grew up with these dogs, and the pups that they had, I actually thought I was a pup, and used to come running when my mum called the pups to be fed!!!!

They were peds Dawn, my mum is looking for their pedigrees, she says she still has them somewhere lol.

I think Girlies ped name was *something* Gamboling Girl, not so sure about Brandys name.

Will post it as soon as I come across it.

OK, my mum can't find the pedigree papers, they've probably been binned a long time ago, but Girlies pedigree name was

Higherside Gambling Girl.

Does anyone know how you go about tracing her family tree etc????

If you know who bred them you could try giving them a ring or try the Kennel Club if they were KC registered.
