Jade, after reading the other Ferret Thread, I think you will be able to work on your mum. Make all sorts of promises, [you must always keep promises though ]

My daughter had 5 ferrets when she lived in the States. They were both sexes, but all neutered and scent glands removed. I don't know if you can get that done here. They all lived in the apartment with their cat and pet rabbit. They are enormous fun, and all pile on top of each other to sleep. [Just like Whippets :teehee: ]

They do look like they would be a lot of fun ... an awful cute too. I guess they take quite a bit of work to look after as well though.
