Harvel are faced with having to upgrade their worn out trackside rails and are considering some differing options.

As such I had sourced a supplier of plastic piping on the internet, got a quote for the necessary amount and asked if they could send me a small sample, around 300mm long say, just to ascertain it's suitability. They were happy to oblige, yet on Thursday I came home to a card through the door saying that a courier had tried to deliver but that no one was in. I rang them on Friday morning, and said if it was too big for the letter box, it was ok to leave it in my wheelie bin.

The photo below shows what I discovered on going outside on Saturday morning ........ (I hope it's below - never have much luck with the photo thingy!)

Oops you need a bigger wheelie bin  .

I had a word with the Rob at the Northern on Sunday and he gave me the name of the company (based in hampshire) they used, and their whole track was done for £250 and it does look good too. I'll speak to you soon.
