I noticed there are still a lot of non ped people on the "Awaiting Authorisation" list, maybe this is due to not knowing how to log on properly? I've had quite a few emails with people having trouble in the past.

After registering with k9 you will be sent an automatic e-mail with a validation link (usually in bold or underlined) click on this & your account should automatically be opened. You cannot become a member & able to post unless you reply via the email or contact one of the moderators (quickest route is Nigel = support@k9community.co.uk).

If you have already tried registering & are not logged in you can resend the link from the top right hand corner of the board, under "resend validation link"

AOL users will need to copy & paste the link into the address bar instead of just clicking on

So no excuse now - come on you lot get posting!!!! :D

Thanks Vicky.

There are 3 main reasons why registrations fail.

1) The person registering has given an incorrect mail address.

2) The email address given doesn't work - either the mail box is full or the account has been suspended

3) Failure to complete the registration because the instructions given in the email are not completed.

The confirmation email is sent immediately after registering - so if it isn't received the problem is probably with 1) or 2). It's easy enough for anyone to check that their email address works - just send email to yourself - if you never get it you're never going to receive the registration email either.

I think the instruction given in the email are straightforward enough but I know people do sometimes have problems.
