Ive had a lady on the phone wanting an older whippet ,but the main problem( for me anyhow) is the fact that she is 79years old. :b !She says shes very active and her daughter lives across the road but she could give a good home to an older whippet.She has a large fully enclosed garden. I asked if she`d been in touch with other recues eg RSPCAand she said they had nothing for her ,do you think maybe she`s just too old for a dog!It must be awful not having one ,I said I would try to help,shed been given my number from the secretary of the Midland Whippet , she said that apart from Wendy I was the first `live `person she`d spoken to ( always had an answer phone before) . Any ideas or suggestions? :0 I`ll be at Midland Whippet on Sunday
