Obhs Lurcher Show

Went to the Old Berkerly Hunt Lurcher and Terrier show today. They had all the hounds out in the after noon, 45 couples. What a lovely sight. What amazes me is how well they get on with all the other dogs. They are now getting people to sponser a hound.

A well supported show with a good companion show and a car boot. The weather was better than expected.

Tally won the rough bitch under 23" class.

The iggies set up in competition with the Terriers to see who could be the most vile! The iggies won :thumbsup:

We were there too. Got a 3rd in smooth bitch under 23" with my large white whippet (?cross) (she's a rescue so we don't know her breeding, they said she's a whippy, but I have my doubts) and 3rd in pairs with Tess paired up with a bitch we met there who looks remarkably simillar. No photos sorry.

The dog you were paired up with is related to Indy whippet, he is her uncle. She was sired by Indys litter brother. It was a nice little show wasnt it? Are you going to Kingsclere near Newbury next week end?

She was gorgeous :thumbsup: , really liked her, and very kind of Kate to lend her to me.

Wish I was going next w-end, but OH is dragging me up to sctoland to stay with friends of his for the w-end .
