Sorry for the poor quality of the photo, but I just had to share:

I never saw my previous two whippets get into such depths as this one - could there be some retriever in the mix? And on such a cold day as well!

Great pic, very nice atmosphere! And a lovely whippet, too! What is her breeding?

Lovely whippet - mine like water too barmand.

yep mine too, but yours looks very at home stood there

Lovely pic Bardman  Jilly sometimes goes into the water but she doesn't look very happy about it

Thank you! It looks a bit like a scene from a Finnish lake, does it not? ;) She is by Carry On Pastrami out of Hjortronblommas Gin Kelly.

Thanks. Maybe it was my previous whippets that were abnormal...

Actually, she has never been in that deep before. I suspect the young ducks a few metres away from her must take the credit for that

Macey loves swimming (w00t) especially in dirty water

Mine (who looks very similar) does that when he's been rabbiting and is very hot - he wades in right up to his chest, which helps cool himself down very rapidly. He'd never go near it otherwise, and even walks around puddles not to get his feet wet! He was horrified when I went into the sea upto my knees for a paddle recently, wouldn't come near even the smallest of waves!

Lovely pic Barband, Callie and Sienna like water too but Spry is far too ladylike to venture into the water especially if it's dirty :* she did have a swim in the sea once but was not impressed afterwards
