I adopted Bunny to Karen in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, almost 2 and a half years ago. On Friday Bunny was outside in her garden, wearing a coat. Within a few short minutes Bunny disappeared off the face of the earth, the gate was open and her coat and collar were on the ground. This dog has never wandered off the property, not once. She was very home bound, is very gentle with children, lovely and friendly.

We have moved heaven and earth trying to find her. From radio ads to the newspaper, phoning the police, dog wardens, other shelters, enlisting the help of volunteers from Dogs Trust, alerting taxi drivers, posting on various boards and Karen driving and driving calling for her lovely little "best friend", Bunny has dropped from sight. Certain people are being contacted to seek her in halting sites.

Microchipped, and tattooed as AS VTR, Bunny is a darkish brindle girl, very small, very happy and friendly and well socialised. She is spayed and was never used for hunting.

Karen is destroyed at the thought of what this little poppet must be going through right now. If anyone on this board is in Northern Ireland, please keep a look out for her. Maybe she is in Scotland by now, or somewhere up in the north of England, I don't know.

Please phone Karen at 079 446 37048 or me at 00 353 505 47986 if you find her.

Many thanks.

New info - dog last seen at Saintfield Roundabout, about 2 miles from home, being chased by 2 men and a woman with a white van

FOUND around 11PM tonight. In poor shape but should be ok. Escaped her captors and was living rough. Found almost in shock.

so glad she has been found :) hope she recovers soon :huggles:

So pleased to hear she has been found. :) Sorry that she has been traumatised, but hope she makes a speedy recovery now she is home where she belongs. :luck: :huggles:

So glad she was found - i was keeping a look out for her.

That's a scary warning for everyone not to leave their dogs unattended - even for a moment.

Just to add - never leave your precious dogs unattended in cars either - especially when you leave the windows down for ventilation.

Well done Bunny for giving those thieving scrotes the slip

Very glad to hear you are back where you belong, with your people, nice and cozy and safe. I hope you all get over the shock of it quickly, but am sure some big family cuddles will help you all on your way.
