Barron Top Fun Farm was the venue for the final show of 2011 for the North West Lurcher, Terrier, & Whippet clubs last Sunday. A great day of excitement and enjoyment was had by young and old at this great show. The rain came down in bucket fulls, but this did not dampen the spirits of all the regular show goers. On a rainy or sunny day Barron Top has a large variety of entertainment for the more junior members of the family , such as baby animals, puppies, large indoor soft play area and bouncy castle, adventure playground, cart rides, face painting, and pony rides. tearoom and gift shop. While the grown ups were participating in the show, the little people were in out of the rain playing happily and safely. George Mc Garrell the owner of Barron Top was there on site, attending to detail and making sure the stew was piping hot for everybody that requested it. Many thanks George for your hospitality and kindness to us on the day. It was very much appreciated.
There was a great gathering of Lurchers, Terrriers, and Whippets at this well organised show. This was the last show of 2011 for the NWLT&W Club, but also the biggest show, as it was also the final of the 32 County Champion of Champions. There were people there from every County of the island of Ireland with there Champion Dogs all with their eye on the big prize of the day.
