Norfolk To Cumbria

Going to Cumbria (Keswick) this weekend and just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on places to have a break on route.

Also, we're not sure whether to go up the A1 or M6. Traveling from Norwich.

Anyone done this trip?

go up the a1.. then left at scotch corner.....few miles along that a66 is the "fox hall inn" thatll break your journey up and its cracking grub :thumbsup: and thats your quickest route too i think :wacko:
