I already posted to some lists the Dog Lost details about Winston, the 6 year old little German Spitz I had fostered that ran off on Saturday. He had only been in his new home a week and he doesn't know the area at all. He's still missing.

(Lost Black German Spitz - Klein)

He has never ever been on his own before as he lives with his brother. He has been badly treated and is generally fearful of people until he gets to know them. I suspect until I took him in he had never really been on walks outside before. There is virtually no chance anyone will be able to catch him so if he is seen Donna (his new owner) will try, but will also contact me so I can go up. But i am 3 hours drive away. :- ( He might go to Eddie Andrew (who looked after him before I took him on) but she is even further away.

If you know anyone in the area of Lemmington (near Newcastle) please can you alert them and please keep their eyes open for him? All the official people have been contacted. He is small, black and fluffy. Looks more like a cat than a dog. He is so small he can squeeze into and through really tiny gaps which makes it even more difficult.

At the moment we could do with some sightings. Hasn't been seen at all since 10 am yesterday (Sunday) morning depite huge publicity on the area and I just fear he is going to hunker down and not reappear. He had only just started eating in his new home having not eaten anything for about 4 days (the change had really upset him to the extent I nearly asked for him back) so he is really figthing the odds here. Needless to say 2 solid nights of fireworks ...

it just couldn't have happened at a worse time for him.

Any information or sightings please phone 07939 721513

Thanks...and need I say, permission to crosspost is given...?

Paddy

Oh, I am so sorry. I really hope he is found. I'll keep everything crossed for him. :luck: It is, at least fairly mild and they have a good dense coat. :luck:
