New Member - Basenji Owner

Just came across this forum on a google search and thought i'd join up and chat with some hound folk :thumbsup:

I have a 2 yr old basenji called Maya, as well as a lab and some pugs and some chihuahuas :blink: They are all shown regularly, and i'd love to have a go at lure coursing with Maya!

We are thinking about getting a rescue cross Basenji a 3 year old female called Spice who has been neutered and has up to date jabs. At the moment she is at a rescue center, we met her on Saturday and took her out for a walk on Tuesday and are going back to take her out for a walk on Friday again just to get to know her better. I think the center likes you to get to know each other first then have her for a day and finally a month before deciding if we like each other. We have had dogs for the last 40 years sadly our last dog died of a heart attack completely out of the blue,
