New Litter

good news and bad 4 pups were born 3 bitches 1 dog all seemed well,but for some strange reason the mother pushed 2 bitches out and kept pushing them out ,george kept trying to put them back,but she just wouldnt have them,sadly they died.the other two are doing well and shes a good mother to them.she was fine with her first litter so cant understand why she did this,maybe there was something she knew,but they all seemed fine when born,any ideas why she would do this ?

I think just what you said 'maybe something wasn't right' the bitches natural instinct to know that something wrong - we have had it with a litter too no matter how hard you try if the bitch rejects think its because they know best :thumbsup: Good luck with the others :luck:

It is so sad losing the pups, could they not have been hand-reared or tried with another bitch who had a litter?
