Whippet Necks are shaped so that they can easily slip out of regular collars - also for walking a wider collar is less stressful on their necks. What a lot of people do (myself included - though I don't know if noopy does) is have 'tag collars'. These are the thinner collars that the dogs can wear wtih their tags on all the time. Then for walking we slip on their wider collars (we mostly use 2 inch wide 'martingale' aka half check collars) in addition to their tag collars.

yes i only use these collars as tag holders and house collars. i use other collars for walking
