Need A New Camera

Get youreself a Panisonic DMC-FZ8.With a LECIA len's,12x optical,which can be extended to 16x,and 4 by digital,with a briliant anti shake reduction system,it's brill.I have the FZ7,which was the model before,and i so wish i had learned how to use it,before i bought my D SLR.You can now knock one of these up for just over £100.00,if you do you're shopping right.When they came out,they were £300.00,and the FZ7,was £349.00.You'll get one of these for £100.00 too. I've got the Panasonic DMC TZ3 - does everything you could possibly want it to do and fits in your pocket on dog walks too

Got it from USA (via Ebay) as the dollar is so weak and it worked out half the price it would be in UK. Cost me £147 including postage, 2mb memory card, USB thingy (to transfer stuff to the computer by just sticking the card in it), tripod, lens cleaning kit etc).

My friend has a Samsung - also very good and I saw it on a Currys adverts last night for £76!!! :thumbsup:

My Fuji 5500 is like the one you have Nicky....but I also have an OlympusFE160 which is very slim for putting in your pocket....it was ust over £130 that was about a year ago. I think the price wil be down now especially in the sales too.
