I was taking Jessica to the vet this morning (scratched in eye by one of neighbours cats last night) and we reached a set of road works traffic lights that were on a three way signal (T-junction). The lights were a little back from the junction. I sat and watched the cars go from my right to my left, then from my left to my right, then my light turned green and off I went forwards and about to cross the line of the junction when a "TARMAC" flatbed lorry had driven straight through the Red light at the junction (going from my right to my left) well exceeding the 40mph speed limit (approx pushing 55mph heading into the national speed limit zone). I just managed to swing the car back into the junction and slam my brakes on before my poor Punty went under his wheels :rant: .
