Naughty dog boarding

Hello - hoping someone can help ... We have two dogs a lab retriever (6yrs) & a Patterdale cross terrier (5yrs) we are looking into pet sitting & have come across a problem no one will take our Patterdale as he doesn't get on with other dogs & needs to be on the lead. He was attacked badly as a puppy & yes we have tried classes, dog psychologist, 1:1 lessons - he's very unpredictable around other dogs BUT is the most affectionate & loyal dog in every other way . Does anyone know of any 'Pet sitters/walkers' that could deal with him in the Southampton area ? Long shot I know but we have a family wedding to attend next year abroad & I'm starting to worry, I think the stress in kennels would be horrendous for him

If you're looking for someone to house-sit as well as dog-sit then I would have thought that people like Animal Angels (http://www.animalangels.co.uk/) would be OK with the situation as they wouldn't be walking your dogs along with other. We had one of their people stay in our house (Cornwall, but they have people around the country) a couple of years ago and they managed our 3 dogs with no problems (one troublesome dog on lead, 2 off). Of course it's going to cost more than kennels, but it doesn't stress the dogs anything like as much.
