My Whippet Puppy ....gypsy

are all whippets into ripping to shreds any paper or cardboard they find????????

Dunno about whippets but my greyhounds, aged 5 and 1, shred everyhthing!! Including the post and chew just about as much including shoes, teddies etc. I can't even say they are bored becuase they have company all day.

If yours is a puppy chances are you can train him/her not to shred - I only got mine a few months ago and it seems a lot harder to retrain adult dogs.

Genie's crate in the kitchen did have a plastic bottom to it, which he chewed. I now line it with carboard to stop his little bottom getting cold on the floor (with vet bed and blankets as well) but he just sounds like a hamster at night chewing it up :- "

All of our dogs like to chew cardboard and wood.

My pups chew everything including the plastic tray out of a cage when they were younger :rant:

But if they get hold of the post or newspaoers you don't need a papper shredder to get rid of any mail just let the pups have it

Never chew up the bills though!!!!!

gypsy is looking really well, i hope you bring her along to the racing when we have the reunion of jess's pups after xmas. i'll let you know when it's going to be.

Oh yes they've also had a brand new school shoe, 2 trainers from different pairs, the arial off my mobile phone, 2 tubs of fish food, numerous actionman accessories, a sheepskin rug,socks, candles, ect ect god the list is that long I'd be here all night :lol:
