My dog has a lump maybe a tumor :-(

My 4 year old cocker spaniel has a red lump on his neck hes been vomiting for 9 days now been back and forth to the vets hes had bloods and X ray nothing found had anti sickness meds and antibiotics and still being sick?? Wont remove the lump to be tested untill vomiting has stopped but could the lump be causing him sickness? I just want it off to be tested but hes still vomiting :- (

Very worrying, but they are correct in not even considering surgery until the vomiting is under control. Have you gone the route of starving him for 24 hours and then introducing just very plain boiled chicken and rice in small quantities to help rest and restore his gut. It may be that the two things are not related, and it's just a coincidence they've shown up together. Or is it possible the lump is an allergic reaction to something in which case while one wouldn't be causing the other they could be related to the same thing.
