My dog doesn’t always.......

......bark in the night, but when she does it’s 2:45am and snowing and she wants to go out and play

.......jump up and knock me over, but when she does I’m standing on one leg doing yoga

......stare disapprovingly between me and her bed, but when she does it’s because I haven’t straightened out her blanket after she screwed it up

... help himself to food left out on the kitchen worktop. Because if it's something he knows I'm happy for him to have, he won't help himself but will whine and whine and whiiiine till I come & give it to him.

...like to wake the neighbours, except at 05.45 when he's in the street and sees a cat

... make a commotion at 9pm except for when she needs a late night wee!

.....hide under the table, but when she does it’s because I’ve made a scary towel dog

....whine at the door to come in the bedroom, except when I tell him to come in with us and he decides he doesn't want to, until two minutes after we have shut the door and gotten cozy into bed without him.
