Im looking for a decent pay as you go mobile phone, one with a back light that dunna go out the moment its switched on, its gonna be a pressy for my next birthday off Ruthy, any ideas

The backlight is usually on for a set period of time but most phones come with an option of setting it on for longer. Whatever you get, simply pass to a teenager who will more than likely be able to set this up for you. :thumbsup:

Thank you, its a nokia 2310 we have, i have adjusted the back light to maximum, but still it aint on long enough, i believe its a problem with this model, so ive read

Motorola Pebls have a backlight that is on for a maximum of 5 mins I think... :cheers: :thumbsup:

hey my OH says that the only phone he knows of that you can get the backlight to stay on it the IPHONE (w00t)

the reason you cant on most is that it runs the battery down very quickly if the backlight is left on.
