Just received this email re a lost dog

9 year old Bitch
Missing from CF3 --- Pip ran off from St Mellons near Cardiff on the 9th June
Also this was on my local freecycle (Cardiff)
"I know this isn't a freecycle issue, but hoping you'll be kind and read.
My mum left their whippet with a dog sitter for the weekend, and at
Saturday about 8am she escaped from the Old Newport Road area. She is
a rescue dog and extremely nervous (especially nervy around males)
She is a black & white white whippet (black with white blaze from
forehead to chest) white paws and tail tip. Her name is Pip, she's
about 9. She is wearing a brown collar and is chipped, but the number
on her collar won't work but see below - if anyone sees her, PLEASE contact me as she
has been without food or water in this blazing heat and I am so scared
for her. I am desperate to get her home before my mum gets back
tomorrow.
Police, local vets, dog pound and dog_lost notified, and posters
will be going up around the area tomorrow, but if you have seen her
please do let me know - thank you so much,"
