I don't know if any of you have seen it on the news about the two brothers

who came out of their dingy yesterday on yarmouth beach. It seems

the wind was that strong it upturned them.

The younger one was able to get himself to shore but the older one is

still missing at sea :(

While the helicopters were searching for the lad they found three local

lads out at sea and winched them onto the helicopter. I spoke to the mum

of one of them today........these lads are approx 16, 18 and 22.......and

guess what they had floated out to sea on.............an inflatable swimming

pool

And to think if the helicopters hadn't been out searching it could have

been another three sets of families grieving today :(

(w00t) You'd think they'd be old enough to know better!

Respect for the sea should be taught at a young age, at home and in school.

It is probably the single, most dangerous element on earth.

I'm very glad that these three lads were saved - hopefully they have learnt a good lesson

I made sure my children could swim at an early age

we are stuck between the Sea and the River.

And hopefully they would have had more sense than tha.t

God still aweful though... :( very sad..

shall watch the news tonight.

They really think "it won't happen to me..." don't they - so tragic and a total nightmare for the poor families

Do you know i've just re-read my 2nd post and it sounds

sort of smug.......i didn't mean it to come across like that :b
