Miniature Dachshund - Rash

Hello help please,

My doxie has a rash near her arm pit. She is 4 and has never had anything like this before (I have attached a pic)
Has anyone got any advice? I have made a vet appointment but not until Thursday so I wondered if there’s anything I can do before.
Appreciate any feedback!

Look for logical reasons. Harness rubbing, burn rash from a flexi type lead, new food, new washing powder etc..
It could be something quite simple,
In the meantime keep it cool dry, dont let her make it any worse by rubbing or pawing at it and most of all....dont panic! Let the vet do their work
