Thank-you very much Millie, we're still on cloud 9. Guy is being a little bit smug. He looks at Blob and says "you do need a bit of class to win - something you just aint got!!!!" He then goes all silly and gives her a big sloppy kiss 'cos he adores her really.

:D A very big well done to Caroline, she bred the BD and RBD. Guy will be beaten by Derohan Hawk Wing JW at plenty of shows :( . We don't mind though 'cos he's lovely as well.

When I was stood in the final line up, I glanced down to check who else was stood there, forgetting I'd clapped for Hawk Wing when he'd won his class :w (a slight blonde moment). All I could think was "s**t, blast, b****r, he looks fantastic-he'll probably win this". I was consoling myself, 'cos Guy had won the open dog class, and I am very pleased with him. And that lovely lady, Rachel Wray, walked up to me and Guy with the rosette :D .

As I'm probably getting on your nerves now, I will shut up, (well maybe), but I would like to thank everyone at the show, for congratulating us. I think just about everyone who was there, did congratulate us, and that was lovely. THANK-YOU :D

A big thank-you to Midland Whippet Club, for organising another superb show. Selecting another lovely judge, wasn't it Midland where you judged an open a little while back Karen, (or am i having a minor blonde moment :D ), they usually do select excellent judges don't they :D :D :D .

I don't need to thank the make-up team, 'cos I never wear any :b . Gave up when I was teenager and out trapping :D .

And my mum and dad are always brilliant, they are chuffed to bits as well, and told me off, 'cos I didn't take the "main man" over today when I visited. They actually put the bottle of wine back in the fridge :angry: , said I'd get a glass when I next took the black man with me :0 .

Thanks Bj, for posting a lovely pic of Guy for him, a more recent one than the one Millie posted, but thanks to Millie as well. Guy did point out that rather than trying to show Blob, :w , I should have stuck with a professional (him). But as I am anything but professional, I suspect I let them both down, rather than the other way round.

So thanks Guy, "you're simply the best, better than all the rest, ......" um, he's just left the room at my singing :w -can't imagine why ??? .

Really chuffed that Rachel selected her best dogs from Caroline's breeding, o.k. o.k. I'm going.

Would those of you that weren't at the show, like to see a pic of Guy and Elaines bitch, Shoalingham Socialite in the ring together. Just before the judge selected S.S. for B.I.S.?

She does look stunning, you can see why the judge selected her.

I took the other photo off the board 'cause someone told me that Guy didn't look as nice in it. :D As if Guy could ever look not as nice in any photo. :D Though his best look in my opinion is when he's running free on Cleeve Hill bunny hunting.

Yes please for photos of Guy and Elaine's bitch together.

Was Guy behaving himself with her in the ring?

It was lovely hearing your message yesterday btw. I hope that this means himself is going to be gracing the ring this year as well as Bluebell and Bonnie. Boy are you going to be busy running from ring to ring. :D
 
Well done Lyd. You must be well chuffed :D Sorry, it was me that didn't like the other picture so much. I thought it didn't show off his lovely neck and shoulders so well because he was looking at the camera.
 
That photo also demonstrates the problem of showing/judging a black or blue indoors on a rubber mat.

That was the best one as well in terms of being able to see Guy so I've been told.

Lyd has asked me to put the other photo back on so people can see what a difference grass makes to showing a black dog.

Thank-you everyone, for all your congratulations.

I'm still really chuffed and grinning from ear to ear. Rang George Silk on Sunday, when we got home. He has always been interested in Guy, 'cos he bred Guy's dad.

I am also going to send him a photo and letter. For those of you who remember George, even though he no longer attends whippet shows. He is very interested on who is winning etc. Especially when it has Wyemere behind it. So if there are any other Wyemere progeny, showing,just being a pet or whatever, George would love to receive a pic and a note.

Me thinks you must have. When I traced back, the others I found that were still entire, are possibly no longer with us now. George has only the one bitch left now, and she isn't a youngster. Still going rabbiting though :D .

Have Frankie or Dante's services been required lately at all Dessie,meant to ask you on Sun, but forgot.

:D Too busy grinning, and still am :D !

No Lyd, getting too old and past it!!! The last litter Dante sired was to Ciara, whose blue son, Hugo, does well lure coursing (owned by Warren and Christine Bailey)
