:eek: I've been waiting and waiting and waiting but not one person has even mentioned who won at Melbourne Royal. OK so from this is I can assume that no K9 members did anything note worthy.

I'm not asking for a blow by blow but who the hell won and what was the breeding? Is it a secret?

It's only the [SIZE=14pt] BIGGEST [/SIZE] dog show in Oz and no results have been posted. :rant:

Could anyone post the the major award winners in whippets please?

A saluki from QLD won the group & the whippet (a nice one) from WA was 2nd.

Who cares...........GO POWER.........AFL Premiers :huggles:

Does this nice whippet (from WA) have a name, or parents and does it's owner have a name?

Who was the dog CC winner?

Or is that a national secret too?

The highlight of the Melb Royal for me was parking in the Flemington Racecourse carpark. Just amazing thinking about some of the history that goes with the place. My 2 puppies got well and truely dumped. But that's dog showing for you. :p

Here we see Gajo & Angus at the car park of Flemington Racecourse. Yes there is a lot of history there. I will never park there. I always park in one of the houses near the show grounds. :))

For those that dont know, the Racecourse Carpark is also known as the Flemington Beat, :oops: :x

Ronndal Boogie Nights went BCC RBOB Puppy of Group and Puppy in Show at the cutain raiser show.
 
Thanks for the extra info regarding the Flemington car park Cartman - will leave it to others to imagine whether you got your info first hand or from some of your doggy friends :p . On this ocassion I experienced the Flemington carpark with Mrs Angus, who was most lady-like. :blink:

I got first with Dino (Aslan That's Amore) in Minor Puppy Dog at the Melbourne Royal - against Noreen Harris showing one of Colin Sarantis's dogs sired by Rogue.

And Aime (Aslan Chanson D'Amour) got 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch.
 
Well done Aslan on your wins, especially little Dino, (can't keep calling him little Dino, but I just picture him when he won the baby class).

I would just like to add to the results of the Whippet Specialty in NZ Judge Shirley Rawlings. I don't have the catalogue with me, but do know the placings taken by our Whippets.

Minor Puppy in Show : Shenkhan Majik Moments (A/NZ Ch Sheberghan The Pilgrim x Ch Shenkhan Drums and Roses)

Puppy in Show : Shenkhan Spilss the Beans (Litter brother to above)

Junior in Show: Shenkhan Strike a Tune (A/NZCh Sheberghan The Pilgrim x Shenkhan Striker Fox)

Ch Shenkhan Drums and Roses also won Best Progeny.

Congratulations to all the other winners too.

I had a wonderful time at International Whippet Congress and the National Whippet Show in Melbourne. As always the hospitality offered by the Australian folk was ACE.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all the hard working committees.
