Lure Training At Dunsilly On Sunday 21.2.11

Many thanks to Janet Duke and her committee of the Sporting Whippet Club of Northern Ireland for the great days lure training for club members on Sunday at Dunsilly. You and your commmitte members are blessed with abundance of patience, and everyone, including those with nearley year old puppys got special attention from Graham Meek, and were all running on the lure before the day was over. Young dogs and well used to the lure dogs all got their turns many times over. A very useful exercise and preparation for the many shows coming up over the summer. Got a load of photographs, but will have to get someone to show me how to put them up. Rounded off the evening with a cup of tea and a chat. Looking forward to the next days training.

I second Margaret's thanks. The workers were very patient and helpful, and it is good to get the dogs some experience before they go to an actual racing event (we don't do formal trialing in Ireland, not yet anyway)
