Lure Coursing

We tried out some lure coursing Saturday and even though there were only three dogs they all had a great time and did 3 or 4 runs each. There were two whippets and a Bedlington terrior who did exceptionally well running the course fairly truly. Hopefully there will be more of this again during the next few weeks and hopefully we can have a few more dogs.

have you stopped the whippet racing now at the HOE and doing lure coursing instead...hope everyone is ok.

Not stopped the racing no but due to the difficultys with not being able to tow the trailor due to its weight and the need for so little equipment for lure coursing (can carry that in the back of my car) we thought that at least we would be able to give the dogs a run if nothing else. Untill such times as we have the use of a 4/4 to tow the trailor (people with them are not available at the moment ) we are at least able to do something to keep the dogs running fit.
