I posted this notice on the lurcher section at the end of Dec but maybe I should have posted it in this forum. (Can they be sure the dogs were dumped? If the owner moved or something happened to him/her maybe they were lost after all, though would the owner have made enquiries?) I'm sorry I have no up to date information on these dogs, but info should be available from the RSPCA.
Hunt for owner of dumped lurchers

THE RSPCA is trying to trace the owner of two dogs dumped next to the A55.
An inspector from the animal charity branded it “inexcusable”.
The two lurchers were found near the busy road in the Llandudno Junction area last Wednesday.
One was recovered from the side of the road but the other ran to nearby Llanddulas.
Both dogs were distressed, and one of them needed veterinary treatment.
They are now in the council’s boarding kennels in Nantycorn, near Abergele.
Both animals had been microchipped and the owner’s name and address on Anglesey has been traced. But the owner has moved from the registered address and the RSPCA is eager to contact him.
RSPCA Inspector Kevin Paton said: “Dumping dogs at the side of a busy road is inexcusable and we need the owner of these lurchers to come forward.
“We also appeal to anyone who knows anything about this incident to help us with our enquiries.”
Call the RSPCA national helpline on 0870 5555 999.
